Matt is a well integrated and much appreciated member of the community, and was able to unlock doors to real contact with the local culture & cuisine.

Matt's passion for the place was infectious and we enjoyed seeing a glimpse into the life people lead. The island's beauty is surpassed only by its people!

We spent a week on Amami island  and did 4 day trips with Matt Pride- it was quite simply the best investment we made on this leg of our Japan visit.
